Budapest Hungary Travels

Matthias Church
Matthias Church, Buda's Castle District
The views from Buda's Castle District. of the city are breathtaking. The one thing you want to bring with you to Budapest is a good digital camera to capture those life long memories of this beautiful city. I am glad I made this Journey. My train arrived from Vienna Austria, headed to the tourist office at the train station. With a free map of the city I was off to explorer.

Changing Money - Currency in Hungary is forint, There is an official Money Changing office at the train station, there are unofficial money changer standing at the station, I did take a chance and changed money from one of them, as I didn't want to stand in a long line at the official changing place, got a good rate.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Váci street can be dangerous for tourists. Do NOT let seemingly helpful taxi drivers or local women lure you to an establishment they recommend - they may receive a commission for bringing victims to the club/restaurant.
